on Sunday 05 May 2013 - 21:48:00Now that the organisational and administrative tasks associated with running the Winter League have been lifted off his shoulders, Terence McCrory chose Saturday to remind us of his golfing abilities when his nett 66, off 20, claimed the day’s top prize. Although he played very well for most of his round, he made the odd attempt to throw it all away when, firstly, he double bogeyed the 9th, then the 11th, and had one final fling with disaster by closing with a pair of double bogeys. It was lucky for him that a few other competitors were courting disaster in similar fashion.
