Noel Stewart had is name pulled out of the hat in this weeks Joker Draw but unfortunately for him the Joker card wasn't turned. Remember tickets can be bought from bar staff or in the Pro Shop throughout the week. £1 each or 4 for £3. Prize money this week £550.

Local Rules

As from Friday 5th April and until further notice the following local rules apply. A ball may be lifted, cleaned & placed within 6 inches and not nearer the hole on closely mown areas only. A plugged ball through the green may be lifted, cleaned & dropped within one club length, not nearer the hole.
On the putting green a ball that comes to land in or on an aeration hole may be moved to the nearest spot not nearer the hole.Under these conditions competitions will now be qualifying for handicapping purposes.

Ladies Results
on Wednesday 22 May 2013 - 09:50:10This week the ladies were playing for Mrs Dorothy Woods's prize and were asked to make a donation to MacMillan Cancer Support and the 57 ladies who played raised £218.50. A big thanks to Dorothy for donating the prize and to everyone for donating so generously to this worthy cause.

Ladies Junior Cup

Sheena McStay's Junior Cup team had a good 4-1 win against Royal Belfast at home on Monday. The first four matches out all won, Cara Murphy, Sian Mulholland, Bronagh McKavanagh and Lynne Hanna. In the last match Fiona Cummins was beaten 2/1 so overall the team is 4 matches and 10 holes up. The return match will be played on Thursday and although delighted with their home result the ladies still have a bit to do on the notoriously tricky greens of Royal Belfast and we wish them the best of luck for their return match.

on Thursday 16 May 2013 - 22:24:51Pam Graham's Minor Cup team played the first leg of their match against Kilrea at home today and unfortunately lost 3-2 but are only one hole down. The only winner today was Irene McCusker who, with her 5/4 win, continues to show that there's no substitute for experience, especially when coupled with a good short game like Irene has!
Ladies Results
on Wednesday 15 May 2013 - 10:01:38After a brief glimpse of the sun last week the ladies had to don the wet gear and put on their winter woolies again this week as they competed for the Greer Cup.In these difficult conditions the winner by 5 shots, with a nett 66, was Pat Hughes. Pat, who plays off 26, had 5 pars and only one 7 on her card which was steady golf on a course that was playing long and tricky. It's great to see Pat back to full health and she can look forward to lifting her trophy at the end of the season's silverware night.
