The ladies Minor Cup team went to neighbouring Banbridge today for the first leg of their match and lost 3-2 and are 10 holes down.It was a cold windy day and the two winners, Priscilla Clayton and Rosemary Callender, did well to hang on and win each of their matches 1 up. The other three players, Anette Kilbinger, Margaret Bryans and Dorothy Woods unfortunately lost but will look forward to the return match at home on the 2nd June when there will be everything to play for.Veterans Cup (22/5/13)

Ladies Results
on Wednesday 22 May 2013 - 09:50:10This week the ladies were playing for Mrs Dorothy Woods's prize and were asked to make a donation to MacMillan Cancer Support and the 57 ladies who played raised £218.50. A big thanks to Dorothy for donating the prize and to everyone for donating so generously to this worthy cause.

Sheena McStay's Junior Cup team had a good 4-1 win against Royal Belfast at home on Monday. The first four matches out all won, Cara Murphy, Sian Mulholland, Bronagh McKavanagh and Lynne Hanna. In the last match Fiona Cummins was beaten 2/1 so overall the team is 4 matches and 10 holes up. The return match will be played on Thursday and although delighted with their home result the ladies still have a bit to do on the notoriously tricky greens of Royal Belfast and we wish them the best of luck for their return match.
Lurgan Leading Qualifiers at Spa
