We are extremely pleased to congratulate our long time member Dessie Gregg for being awarded the British Empire Medal in the 2019 New Year’s Honours List. This honour was richly deserved for all his work in our local community, particularly with the Jethro Centre and the Lurgan Rotary Club.
Dessie is a past Captain and past President of Lurgan Golf Club and continues in his role as an active Trustee. His contribution to the running of our Club is greatly appreciated, and we wish him and his wife Ray, who has also been extremely involved with ILGU over the years, many years of health and happiness to enjoy his award and their visit to Hillsborough Castle.
