Niamh Ward travelled to Dublin course St Anne's Golf Club from October 23 - 25 hoping to retain the title she won last year. It proved a happy Halloween hunting ground for her as she did just that. However on the final day of play, she started the day five shots behind Ellen O’Gorman (UCD) and she looked to have a mountain to climb in the challenging rain swept conditions. She started well with birdies at the 1st and 5th but these were countered with bogeys on the 6th and 8th. However over the back nine she raised hr game and
did enough to see off the competition and retain her title. Many congratulations Niamh!
